Renault India, the Indian subsidiary of French auto manufacturer Renault SA, is trying to woo its customers with lucrative discount on its high-selling SUV – the Renault Duster. To capitalise on the festive mood of the Indian buyer, Renault has directly cut the ex-showroom price of its Duster SUV. After this cut, the entry level Renault Duster RxE diesel is priced at Rs 8.18 lakh in comparison to Rs 8.70 lakh (ex showroom Delhi).
Apart from the price cut, Renault is also offering its customers a 2+2 years or 80,000km extended warranty. Being a limited period offer, it will be extended only till September 15, 2014. In an attempt to lure buyers furthermore, the carmaker is also offering free insurance, an assured gift worth Rs 20,000 and free road side assistance for four years.
The Renault Duster base variant comes powered by a 1.5-litre diesel unit, capable of delivering a maximum power output of 84PS and 200Nm of peak torque. One must note that this scheme will not be applicable on other trims and variants. The vehicle can be booked by September 15, 2014, while the deliveries will commence by the end of this month.
