The Renault Kwid Live For More Edition

In a bid to clear out the old stock, Renault has launched a 'Live For More Edition' with the 2016 model year units of the Kwid. This special edition features cosmetic changes to both the interior and exterior of the car in the form of some additional liveries and accessories. The Live For More Edition is being offered with no additional cost and can be had with all the three iterations of the car - 0.8-litre manual, 1.0-litre AMT and 1.0-litre manual.

The Live For More Edition of the Kwid looks rather quirky and sporty with its new set of graphics. On the outside, it gets red highlights on the front grille, red highlights on the wheel caps, dual-tone roof rails, a red spoiler, front offset racing stripes which all go way back to the end of the roof and body graphics on the sides. Inside, the three-spoke steering wheel gets a dual-tone cover and some contrasting highlights on the door panels.

The smaller unit develops 54PS of power and 72Nm of torque whereas the bigger one churns out 68PS of power and 91Nm of torque. The 0.8-litre engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission and claims to deliver a mileage of 25.17kmpl. The 1.0-litre engine can be had with either the five-speed manual, or an AMT automatic transmission with a first-in-class dial shifter.
