It is available in the 0.8L MT, 1.0L MT and 1.0L AMT variants.
Offered in two dual-tone colour options: Zanskar Blue with Silver roof and Silver with Zanskar Blue roof.
Other features highlights include 3D decals, Neotech door claddings, seat fabric with blue inserts, chrome AMT dial and 8-inch touchscreen.
The Renault Kwid rivals the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, Datsun redi-GO and Maruti Suzuki Alto .
Renault India has been adding more options to the Kwid over the last couple of months, starting with the new mid-spec 1.0-litre RXL variant back in July. Now, the carmaker has launched the limited-run Neotech Edition based on the RXL variant at a starting price of Rs 4.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Available in the 0.8L MT, 1.0L MT and 1.0L AMT variants, here’s how it is placed in the Kwid’s lineup:

The Neotech variants are priced at a premium of Rs 30,000 over the RXL variant in all three powertrain and gearbox guises. The carmaker has also hiked the price of the Kwid by Rs 5,000 across all variants.
One of the main talking points of the Neotech Edition is the option of two dual-tone colours: Zanskar Blue with Silver roof and Silver with Zanskar Blue roof. Notable features include 3D decals on the C-pillar, Neotech door claddings, seat fabric with blue inserts and blue stitches, and a chrome AMT dial. It also gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto (not present in the RXL trim), USB socket for front passengers, AUX sockets, volcanic grey wheels from the top-spec Climber variant, and B-pillar black tapping.
Under the hood, the Kwid is offered with 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre petrol engines. The former develops 54PS and 76Nm while the bigger 1.0-litre unit puts out 68PS and 91Nm. Both engines can be had with a 5-speed manual while the AMT is limited to the 1.0-litre unit.
The addition of the Neotech dual-tone variants should make the Kwid a more appealing option against its main rival, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, which doesn’t offer these color choices. Read our detailed comparison review of both cars Maruti Suzuki S-Presso vs Renault Kwid: Comparison Review
