Renault has launched a Travelogue edition of the Scala with prices starting from Rs 8.48 lakh for the RXL petrol variant. The Scala Travelogue Edition is actually making a comeback as in April 2013, the French carmaker had launched a limited number of Scala Travelogue Editions but it was only available in the top-end diesel RXZ trim.
This time, the Travelogue Edition Scala is available in RXL and RXZ trim for the petrol and diesel and also the CVT Scala. The Travelogue Edition essentially gets a navigation system and Bluetooth connectivity as bait for the traveler in you. Sprucing up the interior are illuminated scuff plates and a rear sun shade. On the outside, a contrast belt line runs under the window sill from the headlights all the way to the rear to differentiate it from the standard Scala.
The Duster Adventure Edition has become a runaway hit since it was launched a few months ago and it seems such additional variants are giving the company a boost at the showroom. The Scala is a slow selling model for Renault so going by the success these limited edition models are creating for Renault, the Travelogue Edition should give the Scala a much needed spring in its stride.
Renault Scala Travelogue Edition prices:
RXL Petrol: Rs 8.48 lakh
RXL CVT Petrol: Rs 9.61 lakh
RXZ CVT Petrol: Rs 10.51 lakh
RXL Diesel: Rs 9.31 lakh
RXZ Diesel: Rs 10.20 lakh
All prices Ex-Showroom Delhi
