Soon after launching the Captur in India, Renault has now announced that it will organise a week-long service camp for its customers. Called Renault Winter Camp, the service camp will be held at all Renault dealerships across the country from November 13 to November 19.
Renault claims that this camp is aimed at ensuring optimal performance of cars, which takes a hit during winters. Under this program, Renault will offer car owners a comprehensive car check-up as per the company’s guidelines which will entail a detailed examination of all the key functions of the car. Not only this, customers can also avail various other offers at the camp including a 15 per cent discount on select parts and accessories and other value-added services, 10 per cent discount on labour charges and a discount of another 10 per cent on extended warranty enrollment and roadside assistance.
Other offers include an exclusive plan on Renault Assured insurance renewal, free car top wash and some special offers on select tyre brands. To keep customers engaged while their vehicle is being serviced, Renault has also planned to organise some fun activities at its workshops.
To further strengthen its presence in India, Renault has taken up various new after sales-initiatives. For instance, the company has started a pre-owned car business called Renault selection. Besides, Renault Finance offers various financial solutions to customers and Renault Assured allows customers to avail cashless accident repairs. Apart from these, Renault is also offering various other facilities like roadside assistance and extended warranty. The French manufacturer has also come up with a new Workshop on Wheels concept as well to cater to the servicing needs in remote areas. By 2018, Renault is planning to bump up the reach of this service to 76 more locations, which currently stands at 46.
Recently, Renault also launched the MY Renault app which allows its customers to book service appointments, set personalised reminders and store documents along with other services. The manufacturer also claims to be the first one to offer e-commerce facility from its app.
Renault India has about 300 dealerships in the country and is planning to take this number to 320 by the end of this year.
