Rolls Royce India will soon launch the updated version of the Ghost, the Series II (two) in India on November 7. This new version of the Ghost will feature updated styling and a slightly refreshed interior. The Ghost Series II was launched in the Geneva Motor show in 2014 and is India’s highest selling modern Rolls Royce.

The new Ghost features a new front look with updated headlamps and bumpers. The new LED  powered headlamp also features an unbroken daytime running light that accentuates the Ghost’s look. The large grille still adorns the Rolls Royce Ghost’s front end with the legendary ‘ Spirit of Ecstacy’ bonnet mascot which incidentally celebrates its 103rd birthday this year.

On the interior front, the Ghost is the pinnacle of automotive luxury and comfort. The leather and alcantara festooned interior can be customised in infinite combinations according to the owner’s tastes and wants. The new Ghost also gets a new central command system with a touchpad controller. Just like on a smartphone, the user can use the pinch and pull function along with other touch oriented functions to control the car’s infotainment systems.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II features a 6.0-litre, twin turbo V12 engine with an all new 8-speed ZF dual-clutch gearbox that takes the Ghost on to a top speed of 250kmph. The Ghost is available either with standard 19-inch wheels or optional 21-inch forged wheels. The Rolls Royce Ghost is currently priced at between Rs 3.40-4.30 Crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) for a base model car without any customisation. Expect the new models to be even more expensive.
