Royal Enfield has announced its first ever pre-owned motorcycle store in Chennai. Called the Royal Enfield Vintage Store, the one-of-its kind store is located at Shop No 27, Mylai Balaji Nagar, Velacery Main Road, Pallikaranai, Chennai.
The vintage store will deal exclusively with three line of businesses: pre-owned, refurbished and restored Royal Enfield motorcycles. According to the company, each of these motorcycles will undergo a thorough 92-point quality check for achieving guaranteed quality assurance and reliability.
Speaking at the Vintage Store Launch, Shaji Koshy, Head, India Business, said, “At Royal Enfield, we are constantly working towards offering new experiences and formats for our customers. With Vintage, we have created a place where epic motorcycling journeys, experiences, and stories will never end and will be passed on from one owner to another. We have observed healthy demand for refurbished and pre-owned Royal Enfield motorcycles, and believe that this business will continue to grow.”
The store will also offer assistance in financing as well as insurance, warranty and post-sales service for its motorcycles. Royal Enfield also states that it plans on opening a total of 10 vintage stores across the country in the first year itself.
Over the years, the Chennai-based manufacturer has gained a cult-like following in India. Hence, the idea of many RE enthusiasts lining up outside the showroom to buy a pre-owned Enfield bike doesn't surprise us.
