The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has been spotted testing again. This time around, it features a couple of changes which differentiate it from the test mule spotted back in February 2020.

This Triumph Street Twin-like looking roadster has its crosshairs aimed squarely at the Honda H’Ness CB350. The latest test mule packs quite a few bits from the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, presumably to up its premium quotient. The exhaust system looks similar to the 650cc roadster and so do the tail lamp and indicators. The bike spied earlier had traditional twin rear shock absorbers whereas this one comes with gas-charged units, just like the one in the Interceptor 650. We believe it might be a higher-end variant, like the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Supernova.

The upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be based on the Royal Enfield Meteor 350’s mechanicals. The cruiser will be powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected counterbalanced engine and is likely to produce the same output figures (20.4PS and 27Nm) as well. The roadster will use a telescopic fork up front and disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS for optimum safety.

Like the Meteor 350, this motorcycle is also expected to get Tripper Navigation, which is Royal Enfield’s turn-by-turn navigation pod. Royal Enfield is likely to launch this motorcycle in mid-2021 at a possible price of around Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom) which will position it slightly below the Meteor 350. Another notable alternative would be the Jawa Forty Two, which starts from Rs 1.65 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the single-channel ABS variant.
