Earlier this year, we broke the news that Royal Enfield will soon extend its Make-it-Yours customisation programme to riding jackets, and now the bikemaker has officially announced it. Now, along with your motorcycle, your t-shirts and helmets, you can customise your riding jacket, straight from the brand.
Royal Enfield’s MiY programme for jackets will allow buyers to choose from different colours, and even add winter or rain liner to their riding jacket. Furthermore, Royal Enfield is also giving customers the liberty to add armour to the chest and back, and even opt between Knox and D3O.
Royal Enfield currently has the Streetwind and Windfarer for urban use, and the Explorer V3, Stormraider, Khardung La V2 and Nirvik touring jackets. The jackets are as affordable as Rs 4,500, and go up to RS 14,950 for the flagship Nirvik. We have already tested the Royal Enfield Nirvik jacket, and you can read all about it here.
Royal Enfield has launched the customisation programme for the riding jackets on its website, and soon intends to introduce the MiY programme for jackets, helmets and t-shirts through its dealerships as well.
