Skoda Invites You To Design The Rapid Successor’s (Slavia) Camouflage

The upcoming sedan will be bigger and much more premium than the existing Rapid

After launching the Kushaq, Skoda Auto India is hard at work with the Rapid’s successor, likely to be called the Slavia. The Czech carmaker has now announced a contest, inviting designs for the upcoming sedan’s camouflage.

Interested participants can submit their entries by August 18, 2021. The carmaker will evaluate the designs and shortlist the top five entries by August 23, 2021. The winner will get a chance to meet Skoda’s design head, Oliver Stefani, in Prague.

Skoda’s midsize sedan is all set to be unveiled by the end of 2021. It will be larger and much more premium than the existing Rapid. The upcoming sedan will be offered with two turbo-petrol engines, both paired with manual and automatic transmissions.

Deliveries for the upcoming sedan are likely to begin from early-2022. It’s expected to be priced from Rs 10 lakh, putting it in the same league as the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Toyota Yaris, and the upcoming VW Vento successor.
