Skoda India has decided to revamp it dealerships across the length and breadth of the country to give them a similar appearance. The company has undertaken this exercise based on customer feedback to improve the brand’s appeal.

The revamp will essentially mean that irrespective of the dealer's location, the ambience will remain the same and impart a sense of uniformity. The plan was revealed at the recent launch of the Skoda Zeal edition vehicles.

The Zeal Edition is available at a premium of Rs 15,000/- to Rs 25,000/- over the existing models and comes as optional. The special edition includes additions such as a black dashboard, leather seats, reversing camera and navigation device.

Currently, Skoda's most affordable and best-selling model is the Rapid sedan, which contributes to around 75 per cent of the brand's sales. The company has sold 2.04 lakh units of all models since November 2001, and plans to sell 20 per cent more in 2015 compared to last year.

The carmaker further states that South India contributes to 33 per cent of its total sales followed by the West zone which contributes to 31 per cent. The Northen region, on the other hand, accounts to 30 per cent of the sales while the Eastern region contributes to the remaining.
