Skoda Auto has announced its future plans of launching three all-electric vehicles by the end of 2030. The latest news was confirmed by Skoda Auto’s CEO, Thomas Schäfer. All three models will be positioned below the Czech carmaker’s current EV flagship, the Enyaq iV SUV.
Now, the Czech carmaker remains tight-lipped about the details. But from what we can gather, the first of the EVs could be an SUV-coupe version of the Enyaq iV, which will be based on the soon-to-be-unveiled VW ID.5 (a crossover version of the ID.4). The other two, as reports suggest, might be a compact hatchback and a midsize sedan similar to the Octavia.

As part of its plans, Skoda expects to capture 50 to 70 percent of the market share in Europe with the upcoming launches. And to achieve that, the carmaker is developing ‘PowerPass’, an all-in-one charging app that is touted to make short work of charging a Skoda. The carmaker will roll out this feature in 30 markets, and it will be available across 2,10,000 charging points across Europe.
In India, the made-in-India Kushaq will launch on June 28. Skoda will also take the wraps off its new Honda City rival by the end of this year. Keep following ZigWheels for our review of the Kushaq that drops tomorrow on June 26.
