The only contender in this category for 2010, the Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler not only went on to top its class but it also won the hearts of the jury with its plush ride quality and neutral handling. The test route included a nice set of arm-wrenching twisties that allowed the jury members to truly evaluate the performance and handling of all the contenders and the Dazzler left a lasting impression on our jury with its nimble handling and grunty 150cc motor.

After the Unicorn and post the advent of the Yamaha FZ-series, there was a gap left open in Honda’s portfolio for a slightly sporty motorcycle that could lure the young college-goers and so arrived the CB Unicorn Dazzler – a sporty iteration of the humble Honda Unicorn. Not only did it get a complete design makeover, but it also got a high-lift camshaft and dual-spring rear suspension to take care of the road bumps more proficiently. Altogether the engine, suspension, tyres and chassis equation works perfectly in harmony on the Dazzler, making it a complete hoot to ride even on bumpy or broken roads. And knowing our jury members, who were essentially biker’s at heart, they too had a lot of fun throwing the Dazzler around corners, which eventually added a good amount of points in the Dazzler’s kitty handing it the top honours for this class.
