Japanese Auto maker Subaru will exhibit the hotly anticipated, driver-oriented BRZ and Impreza (five-door) at the 82nd Geneva International Motor show, which will be held from March 6-18. The unveiling at Geneva will mark the European debut of the two cars. Subaru is known to make highly precisive sports cars that are designed to offer maximum driver engagement. The BRZ for that matter is the result of Toyota and Subaru's coming together to make a car for young enthusiasts who enjoy driving but may not have a bag full of money to spend on a BMW M5. That, precisely, was the idea behind Subaru and Toyota’s brainchild - to make an affordable, fun car.

The BRZ will make 200PS of power from its horizontally opposed 2.0-litre Boxer engine, delivering outstanding levels of grip and gravity due to its low centre of gravity–lower than any production car yet. Also enhancing the overall fun factor will be the front-engine layout coupled to the rear-wheel drive that, by the sound of it, will be extremely fun to drive.

The fourth-generation all-new Impreza, which will also be on display at the Swiss expo, has been designed to offer a high level of refinement and value for money. The C-segment model will provide superior reliability, handling and safety features, and with Subaru’s patented Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system and horizontally-opposed Boxer engine at its core, the Impreza will be a great all-round package.

In addition, Subaru will also be celebrating the 40th anniversary of its unique Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive platform at this year’s Geneva show. The technology was first introduced on the Leone estate in 1972 and Subaru’s stand will showcase a number of products from four decades of All-Wheel Drive, including the history of Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive, a distinct new logo and a 3D virtual game.
