Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has introduced its Let’s scooter in new dual-tone colours. The 110cc dual-tone Suzuki Let’s retails for Rs 48,193 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is offered in the following colour options - Royal Blue / Matte Black (BNU), Orange / Matte Black (GTW) and Glass Sparkle Black. The Suzuki Let’s is the first 110cc scooter offering from the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer for the Indian market. The 110cc scooter segment is the most popular category for scooters in India but the Let’s has failed to leave its mark and has been outsold by the Suzuki Access 125 despite the latter being more expensive. The new dual-tone colour options can be seen as a move by Suzuki to make the scooter gain some popularity.
Commenting on the launch of the new dual-tone Let’s, Satoshi Uchida, MD, SMIPL, said, “The Let’s has always made a strong statement as a fuel efficient, performance oriented, and trendy scooter. The new Let’s in dynamic dual toned colours will build on the scooter’s style quotient and further enhance the brand appeal. We constantly endeavour to bring in new variety to our products and offer the best features to our customers.”
Powering the Suzuki Let’s is a BS-IV compliant 113cc motor that develops 8.4PS of power and 8.8Nm of torque. Braking is done by drum brakes on both ends, while it employs telescopic front forks and a monoshock unit at the back to take care of damping. The Suzuki Let’s is among the lightest scooters on sale in India and weighs just 98kg. The Suzuki offering competes against the Honda Activa i, TVS Scooty Zest and the TVS Wego.
