Tata Models Get Pricier By Up To Rs 36,400

The hike ranges from Rs 4,400 to Rs 36,400

Tata has joined the list of carmakers that have hiked the prices of some, or all, of their models (read: Volvo, Honda, and more). Tata has increased prices by an average of 1.8 percent across its lineup in India. While the hike came into effect from May 8, all bookings made on or before May 7 will be exempt from the increment.

Tata has also extended the validity of the extended warranty and free services, expiring between April and May, to June 2021.

The Altroz sees an increase of Rs 5,400 to Rs 20,400.
All the turbo-petrol variants see the largest hike of Rs 20,400.
Only the price of the diesel base-spec XE variant remains unchanged.
Tata’s premium hatchback is now priced from Rs 5.79 lakh to Rs 9.55 lakh.

Save for the base-spec XE variant, the Nexon sees a uniform hike of Rs 16,400 across its petrol variants.
The base-spec diesel XE variant has become dearer by just Rs 4,400.
Tata’s sub-4m SUV is now priced from Rs 7.19 lakh to Rs 12.95 lakh.
