The Harrier currently has five monotone and two dual-tone colour options.
Daytona Grey sports a lighter shade of grey and blacked-out alloy wheels.
The Harrier retails from Rs 14.40 lakh to Rs 21.09 lakh, and is offered in ten broad variants.
Rivals include the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Skoda Kushaq, Mahindra XUV700, and the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun.
Tata Motors continues to update the Harrier’s colour palette options consistently, this time introducing the Daytona Grey body shade to the SUV, but in the process also axing the Telesto Grey which was offered earlier. The Harrier is also offered in four other colours: Calypso Red, Orcus White, Camo Green (Camo Edition), and Oberon Black (Dark Edition). The first two can be specced with an optional dual-tone black roof.
You’ll notice some familiarity with the Daytona Grey shade, as it's the same one offered in the Harrier’s bigger sibling, the Safari. Compared to the Telesto Grey it replaces, it is a lighter shade of grey, complemented by blacked-out 17-inch alloy wheels for contrast. In fact, this is the only colour apart from the Camo and Dark Edition to come with blacked-out wheels.
The Harrier comes in ten broad variants: XE, XM, XMA, XT, XT+, XTA+, XZ, XZA, XZ+, and XZA+. It is loaded with features such as a panoramic sunroof, a JBL 9-speaker audio system,semi-digital instrument cluster, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a powered driver’s seat. It also gets keyless entry with push-button start, as well as auto headlamps and wipers.
Safety kit includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors, a rear view camera, hill descent control, and electronic stability control.
Powering the SUV is a 170PS 2.0-litre diesel engine, with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options.
The Tata Harrier currently retails from Rs 14.40 lakh to Rs 21.09 lakh (ex-showroom). It takes on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Mahindra XUV700, Skoda Kushaq, and upcoming VW Taigun.
