Tata Harrier Gets 5-Year/Unlimited Km Pentacare Warranty Package

• As standard, Tata Motors offers a 2-year/1,00,000km warranty with the Harrier.
• The Pentacare warranty package is valid for three years and unlimited mileage.
• The Pentacare warranty package costs Rs 25,960.
• It can be purchased while booking or up to 90 days after taking delivery of your SUV.

Tata Motors has rolled out a Pentacare warranty package for its flagship SUV, the Harrier. It is priced at Rs 25,960 and can be purchased while booking or upto 90 days after taking delivery of your new Harrier. As the tag ‘Penta’ suggests, the warranty period covers five years, albeit with a catch.

As standard, the Harrier comes with a 2-year/1,00,000km warranty. And if you opt for the Pentacare warranty package, you get additional cover for three years and unlimited mileage, taking the total to five years and unlimited mileage. Apart from that, the Pentacare warranty package also covers maintenance costs for important bits like engine parts, the air conditioner, transmission, fuel pump and others.

Additionally, maintenance expenses related to two critical wear and tear parts -- the clutch and the suspension -- will now be covered upto 50,000km under this package.

Tata Motors seems to be doing everything it can to retain the Harrier’s popularity among a sea of newcomers like the Kia Seltos and MG Hector. Recently, the carmaker launched a mean looking Harrier Dark Edition that looks stealthy. The Harrier is currently priced from Rs 13 lakh to Rs 16.76 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Mumbai, September 12, 2019: Tata Motors today announced the launch of Pentacare Warranty- an extended 5-year warranty package for customers of its flagship SUV– the Tata Harrier. The announcement of this exciting package comes soon after the launch of the Dark Edition Harrier earlier this month. As compared to the initial 2-year warranty package, this product extends the timeline of the warranty package on the Harrier upto 5 years for unlimited kilometres mileage to provide complete peace of mind. This product is available for purchase at a special price of INR 25,960 within 90 days of the purchase of the SUV.

The package covers important maintenance services of the critical parts such as the engine and engine management system, air conditioning system, transmission system and gear box, fuel system and fuel pump, driver information system and many more. Additionally, any maintenance related to the malfunctioning of the clutch and suspension will now be covered up to 50,000 kms.
