Since its official debut at the 2016 Auto Expo, the Tata Hexa has been spotted on several occasions being tested on roads. It is believed that Tata Motors will finally be launching the Hexa in November. That said, images of the yet-to-be-launched Hexa have appeared on the web, showing the car being driven by people at an event in Jaipur. Rumoured to be a dealer drive, the MUV can be seen being driven through an off-roading obstacle course, showcasing the capabilities of the vehicle.

Apart from the images, even the technical specs of the vehicle have been leaked. The upcoming Hexa will be powered by the 2.2-litre Varicor 400 engine that does duty in the Safari Storme. The BS-IV-compliant diesel mill is capable of producing 156PS of power at 4000 rpm and 400Nm of peak torque at 1700-2700 rpm. The engine will come with transmission options of a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
