Remember the Tata Nexon Aero showcased at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2018. Well, the SUV with the additional styling kit seems to be a hit as merely weeks after the show, the carmaker has revealed its prices. Although the Nexon Aero will not be sold as a variant as earlier reported, it will be sold as an add-on package priced between Rs 30,160 to Rs 61,504 depending on the kit and the variant. So, let’s check out the customisation options available.
Aero Kit Level 1
Price - Rs 30,610 + Rs 7,000 labour charge (excl. taxes)
The Level 1 kit comes can be applied on all variants including the base XE. The kit includes:
Aero Kit Level 2 Option 1
Price - Rs 40,824 + Rs 7000 labour charge (excl. tax)
The Level 2 kit can is available in two options. While once caters to the the base XE, XM and XT variant, the other can only be had with the XZ and XZ+ variant.. It includes additions such as:
The first option is ideal for buyers who cannot afford the top-spec XZ+ variant but want to spruce their SUV up to stand apart from the rest. For the price, you get a body kit, front fog lamp garnish, seat covers with Aero stripe, black and orange carpets, red accents on the wheel caps and a red-coloured ORVM casing.
The second option, as mentioned before, can only be had with the XZ and XZ+ variant that come with alloy wheels. Apart from the additions mentioned above, the alloy wheels get an orange band across the rim. This option is priced at Rs 46,856 (excluding labour charges and tax).
Aero Kit Level 3 Option 1
Price - Rs 55,625 + Rs 10,500 labour charge (excl. tax)
Like the Level 2 kit, the Level 3 too is available in two options. The second option is limited to the XZ and XZ+ variant while the first one can be had with the XE, XM and the XT variant. Over the Level 2 kit, you get additions such as:
By opting for this kit, you will be spending close to 15,000 for the gloss black roof wrap and the red accents on the spoiler. However, if you have the top-end XZ and XZ+ variant, you need to shell out Rs 61,574 (excluding labour charges and tax).
These packs do seem to be on the expensive side when you consider Maruti Suzuki’s iCreate options on the Vitara Brezza cost half as much as the Aero Level 3 kit for the top variants. But, If the heart wants it, there is only so much the mind can do.
