The Dark Editions of the Altroz and Nexon will be launched on July 7, 2021. The all-black vehicles have already reached dealerships, with a select few having commenced bookings. Like the Harrier, the Dark Edition should be limited to the higher variants and could command a Rs 20,000 premium over the monotone colours.
As we already know, both models sport an all-black theme for that stealthy look. Also, Tata has gone the extra mile and finished the nameplate badging in black. However, the dark grey alloy wheels, whose design is the same as those on the standard models, add a dash of contrast.
Like the exterior, the dashboard, door pads, and upholstery of both models are also finished in… you guessed it… black. All the light-coloured plastics and trims of the standard model have been replaced with glossy black elements.

Apart from the all-black theme, no changes have been made to the SUV’s or hatch’s features and mechanicals. For more details, you can read our first drive review of both the models by clicking these links:
Currently, the Altroz is priced between Rs 5.80 lakh and Rs 9.56 lakh while the Nexon will set you back by Rs 7.20 lakh and Rs 12.96 lakh, on which the Dark Edition will no doubt command a premium. However, with the all-black finish, the Altroz and Nexon will be one of the sportier looking models in their segment.
