The Tata Winger 15S Dicor Could Be The Perfect Squad Car

Need to take a group of friends or your extended family out on a trip? If so, the Tata Winger could be one of the best vehicles to suit your needs, especially now that Tata has added a new variant called the 15S Dicor which is more spacious and luxurious than regular variants of the people carrier.

Available only in the 23 Tata Commercial showrooms in Maharashtra for now, the Winger 15S Dicor is priced at Rs 12.05 lakh (ex-showroom).

While the width has remained unchanged at 1905mm, the overall length has now gone up by 538mm to 5458mm. The wheelbase has gone up by 288mm to 3488mm and it gets the highest internal roof height of 1900mm of all Winger variants. What all this means is that there are 15 seats. Yes, 15! The driver seat is three-way adjustable, the front passenger seat is two-way adjustable, while the rest thirteen seats are reclinable for maximum comfort.

The 1.9-metre roof height allows for almost unhindered movement in the Winger, while the 600-litre luggage space (even with all the seats up) makes it very useful. The high roof allows for individual roof-mounted A/C vents and every row of seat gets its own USB charging port for added convenience!

Tata has not changed the powertrain for the new Winger 15S Dicor. It is still powered by a 2.2-litre, DICOR engine developing 100PS of maximum power at 4000rpm and 190Nm of peak torque between 1250-3500rpm. The engine powers the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
