Top 10 Highest-Selling Cars In India, November Edition: Maruti Swift, Baleno Continue To Dominate

The sales figures for the month of November are in and it's no surprise that Maruti Suzuki features heavily in the top 10. What’s even less surprising is that the Swift is again at the top, with the Baleno in second place and WagonR taking the third spot.

Maruti Suzuki saw seven of its models in the top 10, with Hyundai taking two spots and Kia claiming one. The Swift saw 18,498 units sold in the month of November, dominating the rest of the field. An interesting fact is that the top 10 cars account for nearly half of the total car sales in November.

Hyundai and Kia take the title for highest-selling SUVs in November. The Creta topped the compact SUV segment with 12,017 units sold whereas the Sonet claimed the throne over the hotly contested sub-4m SUV segment with 11,417 units sold. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga topped the MPV segment, taking the tenth spot in the list. It is the only car in the top 10 to fall shy of the 10,000 units sold mark, at 9,557 units.

Maruti Suzuki has continued its consistent performance in the Indian market as the popular choice. This can be attributed to its long-standing reputation and trustworthy after-sales service network.
