These Are April’s Best Selling Bikes Between Rs 2 Lakh And 3 Lakh

It’s no surprise Royal Enfield is the king of this price segment, with two of its most lauded products in recent times, the Himalayan and the 650 twins, selling quite handsomely. Over 4,000 of these three models were sold in April. Despite its shortcomings, the Himalayan has been a stellar all-rounder and the Interceptor remains a great affordable multi-cylinder motorcycle.

KTM has taken a hit, and surprisingly it is the 250s (250 Duke and 250 Adventure) that contributed the most for the Austrian bike maker in April, outselling the three 390 models by over 200 units. Overall, though, these sales figures are disappointing as KTM has lost its brilliant value-for-money quotient. Hopefully, we should see a small resurgence in the numbers with the updated 250 Duke, 390 Duke and the RC 390.

Rounding off the top 5, although there are more than 5 bikes in the combined sales list, is the Bajaj Dominar 400. 611 of these were sold in April. While this number is average, it’s certainly better than what any single model of its Austrian cousins’ 390cc version managed.
