Toyota’s Rebadged Vitara Brezza Is Taking Shape
We believe Maruti Suzuki will soon start supplying Vitara Brezzas to Toyota for its own version of the sub-4m SUV. We also strongly believe that it will be called the Urban Cruiser, as the same name was also trademarked by Toyota. What’s more? We expect to see some minor changes while the 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine will be carried on. This unit develops 104PS and 138Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox.

The wait for the new Thar has been a long one. But we have every reason to believe that it is almost over. The 2020 Thar will debut in India by June/July 2020 and will be the first launch from Mahindra post lockdown. Thanks to numerous spy shots, we also know what to expect in terms of equipment, pricing and powertrain options.

Some highlights include a new grille, updated bumper and new colours. If it debuts in India, we expect the Swift to use the 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine that makes 90PS and 113Nm. Currently the Swift is priced from Rs 5.19 lakh to Rs 8.02 lakh.
