Toyota Land Cruiser Becomes World's Fastest SUV

Toyota’s internationally longest selling vehicle the Land Cruiser series has launched their latest generation in India. The new Land Cruiser comes with a completely new look. On the exterior front end, the Land Cruiser gets a rugged hexagonal grille that commands massive road presence. To accompany the grille the SUV gets newly designed LED and projector headlamps which have been blended very well with the chunky three slat grille and the bumper has been restyled as well. At the rear end, the taillights have been restyled and have been provided with a chrome strip bearing the name on it.
The interiors of the new Land Cruiser have also been completely revised and provided with a satin silver finished centre console. There are also wood finish accents provided on the dashboard. An eye-catching 4.2 inch TFT electro multi vision audio info display occupies its place in the centre console. The two vertically positioned air con vent are located on either side of the centre console. Other new luxury convenience features include new steering wheel with Heater, LED illuminated entry system, tyre pressure monitoring system, enhanced multi terrain monitor cameras and many more.

On the safety front, radar guided cruise control, pedestrian detection via radar and camera, autonomous braking, lane departure alarm, auto high-beam, blind spot monitoring and tyre pressure monitoring system are part of the equipment list.
The Toyota Land Cruiser will be powered with a 4.5-litre V8 diesel mill capable of churning out 265 PS and massive 650 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox and an intelligent 4WD system with rock crawling function.
The new Toyota Land Cruiser 200 will be available in two new Exterior Colours- Copper Brown & Dark Blue Mica apart from its existing colours. Launched in India with the hefty price tag of Rs 1.29 Crore (Ex - Showroom Delhi), the new Land Cruiser 200 will go on sale from this festive season onwards, backed with a warranty of 3 Years / 100,000 kms, whichever is earlier.
The new Land Cruiser will compete against the likes of the Range Rover and the soon to be launched Nissan Petrol.
