Toyota Opens Driving School In Faridabad

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has opened its first driving school in Faridabad, Haryana, making it the company's first in the National Capital Region. The Japanese carmaker's Faridabad dealership, Thirty Six Toyota, will manage the driving school. Commissioner of Police, Faridabad, inaugurated the driving school along with Chander Shekar Nagar, dealer principal, Thirty Six Toyota, and N Raja, director and senior vice president of sales and marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor. The Faridabad setup is the sixth of its kind from the carmaker and joins the other five located in Kochi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata.

With a mission to have the 'Safest Cars with Safest Drivers' Toyota pledged to have 50 driving schools by the end of 2020. The latest facility is equipped with simulators to give learners a hands-on training before they take the wheel of the real deal. The machine is made out of an Etios car to offer a complete in-cabin experience. The simulator can give the learner fine control over brakes, accelerator and steering, in addition to replicating foggy, low light, uphill and downhill conditions. Training will also include basic diagnostic, maintenance and repair of the vehicle. The driving school will have a complete A-to-Z programme, but you can also opt for customised packages specific to your needs to master tricky situations.

Simulator Made From Actual Car For Realistic Experience

On the occasion, N Raja said, “We are delighted to launch our first driving school in the NCR region at Faridabad reiterating our commitment towards road safety.  The NCRB (National Crime Records Bureau) report has revealed that on an average, 17 people are killed in road accidents each and every hour and primary reason of road accidents are poor road safety practices.  As safety leaders in the industry, it is our primary mission to ensure safest cars with safest drivers in the country and significantly reduce the traffic accidents with our safety initiatives. It is not “just another driving school” for getting a driving license, but it’s much more of a place that follows a comprehensive approach ensuring that every single student becomes a responsible driver on road and a safety ambassador in creating a safe road for everyone to use.”
