Triumph Motorcycles India will be partnering with the California Superbike School (CSS) for the third successive year. The collaboration of one of the world's largest superbike racing schools and the British bike manufacturer has brought an opportunity for the motorcycle racing aspirants of the country one more time. The school also helps superbike owners of the country hone their big bike riding skills with the program. The bikes provided by Triumph include its supersports range (the Daytona) and the roadster range (the Speed Triple).
Speaking on the occasion, Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director Triumph Motorcycle India, said “We are extremely excited to see CSS growing and motorsports gaining ground here in India. Owning a powerful bike is becoming popular in the country so it is imperative that we provision for the appropriate skill sets to keep owners safe while they make the most of their motorcycles. I personally feel this is an ideal training school for any motorcycle enthusiast because it prepares you for the track and for the street.”
The California Superbike School made its first appearance in the country back in 2010 at the MMSC race track (Chennai) and since then has grown many folds. The CSS operates in 27 countries across the globe and was founded by veteran racer Keith Code, who’s arguably the most successful racing instructor in the world. The school, now in its seventh years of presence in the country, has trained more than 500 students. As the company’s press release puts it, “the school’s workshop runs for three days in which riders are acquainted with the most effective progression of skill sets ever devised for learning the techniques of riding and cornering.”
TT Sidharth, an avid rider and the one to introduce CSS in India, said, “Enthusiasm among participants has been exceptionally high. We recently conducted two separate sessions both of which were completely booked. Riders personally come up to us and shared how CSS has improved their riding techniques. I would like to extend a very warm thanks to Triumph Motorcycles for supporting us in this special endeavour.”
