The Rocket 3 GT is now a whopping Rs 1 lakh more expensive

Triumph introduced a slew of new motorcycles in India this year, including its most affordable offering yet -- the Trident 660 and the most affordable ADV tourer, the Tiger 850 Sport. However, with the beginning of the new financial year, the British marque has revised pricing for select models. Here’s the revised price list:

Model

New Price

Old Price

Price Difference

Street Triple R

Rs 9,15,000

Rs 8,84,000

Rs 31,000

Rocket 3 R

Rs 19,35,000

Rs 18,50,000

Rs 85,000

Rocket 3 GT

Rs 19,95,000

Rs 18,90,000

Rs 1,05,000

With this price hike, the Triumph Street Triple R becomes a staggering Rs 81,000 more expensive than its arch-rival, the Kawasaki Z900, which packs more performance.

The Rocket 3 Twins, too, have received a substantial price hike, inching closer to the Rs 20 lakh mark. In fact, the newly launched Rocket 3 Black Edition Twins cost exactly a lakh more than the standard ones, bringing them in the same league as the BMW R 18 First Edition and Kawasaki Z H2.

As per our sources, the Triumph Tiger 900 family is likely to get a price hike too. We hope it isn’t as substantial as the Rocket 3.
