Triumph's 2013 Storm will hit India next year

During the 2012 Auto Expo in New Delhi the iconic British motorcycle company Triumph Motorcycles showcased its seven models which it will be bringing soon to India. While the plans were to launch some of those models in 2012, a shift in the top management at Triumph India has delayed its launch schedule to 2013. Out of the seven models, the mighty cruiser Triumph Storm is one model which will ply in the luxury cruiser segment challenging the likes of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the soon-to-be launched Victory Motorcycles from USA. The expected price for the 1,699cc Storm cruiser from Triumph is expected to be about 17 lakh (ex-showroom) and it should be in the dealerships by late-2013. The pricing is certainly going to be on the higher side as the Storm will be brought in via the CBU channel and not assembled or produced locally in India.
