The nationwide lockdown that began on March 23 thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on the entire economy, as the steps taken for complete isolation forced all two-wheeler manufacturers to shut shop completely. Now, as per the lockdown relaxations specified by the government, manufacturers have started production once again, of course with all necessary precautions. In accordance with the government announcement, TVS Motors has resumed operations at all its plants in India, which include Hosur (Tamil Nadu), Mysuru (Karnataka) and Nalagarh (Himachal Pradesh).

Though things aren’t expected to come back on track immediately, the decision to resume production should ease the financial burden most manufacturers have been facing since the lockdown.
