Volkswagen India has commenced pre-launch bookings for the Creta-rivalling Taigun. You can book VW’s upcoming SUV via the official website or closest dealership for a token of Rs 25,000. The Taigun’s production will begin on August 18 before its expected launch by September 2021.
Volkswagen will offer the Taigun’s 1-litre TSI engine in standard trims while the 1.5-litre TSI unit will be exclusive to the GT. The latter will also be available in multiple variants: manual (GT) and DSG (GT+). This should allow Volkswagen to keep pricing competitive for those opting for the larger petrol engine.
