Volkswagen is known for launching several special/limited editions of the cars in its portfolio. Earlier this year, the company launched a special-edition Vento and recently the Polo ALLSTAR edition. Now, the German automaker is trying to reignite the spark in the Vento's recipe by launching another edition of the car – the 'Vento Preferred Edition'. This edition will be available with all the Comfortline variants of the car and comes with some additional features over the current models. In the official release, VW has said that the Vento Preferred Edition will be available at all its dealerships across the country.
Here's the list which includes what you get with the Preferred Edition over the standard variant:
- Different set of alloy wheels
- Roof foil
- Side moulding
- High-quality leather upholstery
- A portable navigation device equipped with a wireless rear-view camera
Speaking at the launch, Michael Mayer Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said, “The Vento has been one of our best-selling vehicles since its launch in the Indian market and we are delighted to announce the introduction of ‘Vento Preferred’. The vehicle will offer features that are premium and ensure seamless navigation in a single click, we are sure that our customers will find value in the Preferred experience. We continue to increase our offerings on our existing product line ensuring that we cater to our customer requirements."
As mentioned above, the Vento Preferred Edition will be available in all versions – 1.6 MPI, 1.2 TSI (seven-speed dual clutch auto), 1.5 TDI and 1.5 TDI DSG (seven-speed dual clutch auto) – of the Comfortline variant. The price tag will be approximately half a lakh more than the standard Vento.
