Volkswagen is known for launching special/limited editions of its cars. Earlier this year, the company launched a special-edition Vento, Preferred edition Vento and the Polo ALLSTAR. Now, the German automaker has yet again launched limited ‘Crest’ editions of the VW Polo, Vento and Ameo, which are available at monthly EMIs of Rs 10,999, Rs 14,999 and Rs 11,999, respectively. So let's check out what VW has to offer with the limited ‘Crest’ edition.
On the outside, all three cars will feature:
– The ‘Wolfsburg crest’ on their C-pillars
– Matte black roof
– Gloss black side foil
– The Polo gets a gloss black tailgate along with a gloss black roof-mounted spoiler
– The Vento gets a boot-mounted spoiler
Speaking about the interiors, all three models will be equipped with features such as :
– Exclusive textile mats
– Door sill
– Front centre armrest
– Leather seat covers with the Wolfsburg crest embossed on them, along with diamond quilted stitching
– Detachable sun blinds
Mechanically, the Polo and Ameo are available with the 1.2-litre MPi and the 1.5-litre TDI engines. The motor is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox and seven-speed DSG (Ameo diesel only). On the other hand, the petrol version of the Vento is available with a 1.6-litre MPi and a 1.2-litre TSI, and are mated to a five-speed manual, seven-speed dual-clutch auto, respectively. The oil burner version is the 1.5-litre TDI which comes mated to a seven-speed DSG.
