BSA Gold Star Unveiled

The legendary BSA motorcycle company made a comeback after a huge hiatus, by unveiling the Gold Star in its home, Birmingham. Staying true to its rich heritage, the BSA Gold Star is a retro motorcycle with a lovely design and plenty of attention to detail. And to make it relevant in these times, there’s a fair amount of tech-savvy bits too, including a USB charger, semi-digital instrument cluster, and even a slipper clutch. India Bike Week Wrap Up 

BS6 Honda CB300R & H’ness CB350 Anniversary Edition 

The IBW is a popular platform and Honda made full use of it by taking the wraps off the BS6/Euro 5 CB300R (a world-first) and launching a special edition of the H’ness CB350. While the BS6 CB300R was unveiled (launch will follow suit in January 2022), the H’ness CB350 Anniversary edition was launched at Rs 2.03 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Like Honda, Harley-Davidson also took stage at the IBW to launch its latest cruiser motorcycle, the Sportster S. It retails at Rs 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom) and packs a flat tracker-inspired design elements, extensive electronics, and a punchy engine borrowed from none other than the Pan America 1250. Bounce Infinity E1 E-scooter Launched

One of the highlights of this week has to be the Bounce Infinity E1. It is Bounce’s first-ever electric scooter and retails for as low as Rs 36,000 (ex-showroom Gujarat). TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Updated, AGAIN!

Just when we think TVS is done with the Apache RTR 200 4V’s updates, the company cues DJ Khaled and says ‘Another one!’. This time around the RTR 200 4V has received a new LED headlight, to keep it in line with the recently updated Apache RTR 160 4V. Along with the headlight, TVS has also hiked the price by Rs 775. 

Yamaha R15 V4 Goes Global

After making a global debut here, the Yamaha R15 V4 has reached Indonesia. It is officially called the ‘R15 Connected’ and costs substantially more than the India-spec bike. In turn, the Indonesian-spec bike makes slightly more power and gets two striking new colours, one of them being the drool-worthy 60th anniversary livery. Read all about the international R15 here.
