Benelli took a giant leap in 2019. Not only were the existing products re-launched with ABS, the company launched five brand new models. The TRK 502s were quite likeable and so was the Leoncino 500. The pick of the lot has to be the Imperiale 400, which was our pick amongst the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Jawa for a classic roadster motorcycle. What are the new Benellis that you can expect in 2020?
Leoncino 800:
Benelli took the wraps off its largest motorcycle -- the Leoncino 800 -- at 2019 EICMA. Powered by the same 754cc parallel-twin motor as the 752S, the Leoncino 800 is the third member of the Leoncino family. It makes a healthy 81.6PS and 67Nm, from its Euro 5-/BS6-compliant motor. It is likely that the Leoncino 800 will be one of the new big bikes to be launched in India in 2020. Expect it to bear a price tag of Rs 7.0 lakh - Rs 7.5 lakh (ex-showroom India).
TRK 251:
This was slated to be launched in India in 2019 but Benelli had to put the plans to launch the small capacity adventure tourer on a backburner. Powered by the same 249cc single-cylinder engine that you find on the Leoncino 250 but it will be BS6-compliant. With the pricing of the Leoncino 250 set at Rs 2.5 lakh, we expect Benelli to price this adventure motorcycle at Rs 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom India). We guess Benelli will be launching the TRK 251 by mid-2020.

BS6 products:
Of all the products from the current Benelli line-up, we guess the TNT600i will not make it past the BS6 emission norms. There is a new model on the way but that too will arrive extremely later in the year. The first product that Benelli aims to get up to BS6 norms will be the hot-selling Imperiale 400.
