Honda Brio Facelift Coming This Festive Season

Honda is gearing up for the upcoming festive season and in line with tradition of car makers in India, has introduced a limited edition model of its Brio hatchback badged as the ‘Exclusive’.
The Honda Brio Exclusive edition is styled with an all black interior theme, all the beige trim such as door pads, A-Pillar covers, roof, etc has been replaced with black trim along with black seat upholstery and an illuminated side-step garnish. On the outside, the Brio Exclusive edition gets window visors, rear parking sensors, exhaust pipe finisher, a rear spoiler and an ‘Exclusive’ badge to complete the look.
Priced at Rs 4,92,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Honda Brio Exclusive has been slotted between the S MT variant and the S (O) MT variant of the Brio. The limited edition Honda Brio will be available in three shades, namely, Taffeta White, Alabaster Silver and Rally Red.
Announcing the festival edition, Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India said, “We are delighted to introduce the new ‘Exclusive’ edition of Brio with black interiors. It is our constant endeavour to provide freshness to our products and create excitement in the market. We are confident that this new sporty and youthful look of the car will appeal to our customers.”
Launched a little over two years ago on September 27, 2011 Honda has sold 54,095 units since the hatchback made its entry in the Indian market. The Honda Brio has come to be known for its compact dimensions, peppy engine and fun to drive nature.
The Brio is powered by a 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol engine that is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox while a five-speed automatic version is also on offer. Currently there are nine variants of the Honda Brio on sale with prices ranging from Rs 4.14 lakh to Rs 6.14 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
