The Sián is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 mild-hybrid that puts out a combined total of 819PS of power.
Paired to a 7-speed automatic gearbox and all wheel drive, it goes from 0-100kmph in 2.8 seconds and tops out at 350kmph.
Currently all 63 units of the Sián are sold out at $3.6 million (Rs 25 crore) per unit.
Ever since the lockdown restrictions eased up, Lamborghini have been very busy lately, teasing the upcoming SCV12 hypercar as well as unveiling the Tecnomar For Lamborghini 63 motor yacht. And now, the carmaker has teased yet another car that will make its debut on July 08. But judging by the teaser image, this might be a familiar model. Or to put it more accurately, a familiar hypercar.
The teaser image reveals the rear end of the car which features hexagonal taillamps and a large tailpipe design. This looks pretty identical to the Sián FKP 37 hybrid hypercar that made its debut in September last year, which indicates a new variant of the Sián may debut tomorrow.
One of the main talking points of the Sian is that it is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 mill that puts out 785PS at 8500rpm. A 48v mild-hybrid system gives an additional 34PS of boost to the hypercar. All this gives the Sián a 0-100kmph sprint time of 2.8seconds and a top speed of 350kmph.
The difference between a normal 48v mild-hybrid system and the one on the Sian is that it uses supercapacitors instead of a lithium-ion battery. This gives the hybrid system the ability to store ten times more power while being three times lighter than a battery. The V12 mill is paired to a 7-speed automatic gearbox and is used to send power to all four wheels.
Details on this mystery potential variant of the Sián FKP 37 hybrid hypercar will be revealed once the model makes its debut on July 08. As things stand, all 63 units of the Sián have been sold out at $3.6 million (Rs 25 crore) a pop.
