The launch of the 2024 Maruti Swift has been around the corner for a long time now, and these incessant spy shots aren’t making the wait easier. The good news is that the Swift’s interior has been spied in India, and it seems like it is going to get a more premium interior with a larger touchscreen and added features. Let’s take a look at the interior spy shots:

Though not evident, it is quite possible that the upcoming Swift will be getting the larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which we have seen on other Maruti cars like the Fronx and Brezza. 

Other than a larger touchscreen infotainment, the Swift is expected to get a wireless phone charger, a head’s-up display, connected car features, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. International models also get features like heated seats and door mirrors, but those will likely be given a miss for the India-spec model.

It is likely to get safety features like six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera system.

Powertrain

The 2024 Swift will most likely be powered by the new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine making 82 PS and 112 Nm. The new engine will be a Z series engine, which will replace the 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol K series dual-jet engine. Price and Rivals

The 2024 Swift will be priced at a premium over the current-gen Swift, which is sold from Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). It is likely that Maruti will try to find a sweet spot between the prices of the current Swift and the Baleno. When launched,the Swift will put up a tougher fight against the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Renault Triber and Tata Punch.
