Expect the launch to take place soon after the J-Platform Classic 350
Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Spotted Testing

Royal Enfield’s promise of launching a new motorcycle every quarter was adversely affected with the pandemic’s second wave. We should’ve already ridden the 2021 Classic 350 by now and the launch of the Hunter 350 would be on the horizon. But instead, the Hunter 350 gets snapped up once again in a camouflaged avatar.

The Hunter 350 is going to be the more affordable street bike built on the J-platform which spawned the Meteor 350. The 349cc single-cylinder counterbalanced thumper is going to arrive in the same state of tune as the Meteor, pushing out 20.4PS and 27Nm. However, since the Hunter is going to be significantly lighter, expect its performance to be better as well.

In Royal Enfield’s pecking order, the Hunter is expected to slot in above the Bullet 350, which is expected to be the only bike to soldier on with the UCE mill, and below the new Classic 350. It will borrow the same chassis as the Classic but the suspension might be differently tuned. It has always been spotted running with alloys, which should further amplify its practicality quotient.

We expect to hear from RE soon about the Classic 350 and if everything goes smoothly, then the Hunter 350 should arrive before the end of the year. Royal Enfield is working on quite a few different bikes like the Scram and the 650cc cruisers, which will be its next set of releases after the 350s. Party mode on? We think so.
