Each and every time the Tata Curvv has been snapped testing, something new has been revealed. This time around, the upcoming Hyundai Creta rival’s cabin has been spotted, giving us a clearer look at its interior. For the unknown, the Curvv is a SUV-coupe that will slot in the popular compact SUV segment.
To start things off, the Tata Curvv gets a large floating touchscreen infotainment, probably the 12.3-inch unit that we have seen in the Harrier and Safari. One can also notice the presence of Tata’s two-spoke steering wheel, but the one showcased at Bharat Mobility had a four-spoke unit.

One can also notice a contrasting silver element running on the door pad, which could also be the ambient lighting.
Apart from the infotainment system, the Curvv is expected to come with dual-zone climate control, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated and powered front seats, a wireless phone charger, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof.
As for safety, you can expect it to come with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and most importantly, ADAS.

The Tata Curvv will be available with both ICE and full-electric powertrain options. The ICE-powered model will get a 115PS 1.5-litre diesel engine and Tata’s new 125PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine. A 6-speed manual transmission is expected as standard, while the petrol could get an optional dual-clutch automatic ‘box. It remains to be seen what automatic transmission Tata will offer with the diesel engine.
As for the electric version, one can expect it to be offered with multiple powertrain options with varying motors and battery packs.
The ICE-powered Tata Curvv is expected to be priced from around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Curvv EV could start from around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Curvv will lock horns with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, VW Taigun and Skoda Kushaq. On the other hand, the Curvv EV will fight it out with the MG ZS EV and upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX and Hyundai Creta EV.
