Two test mules of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 were recently spotted in production-ready form, donning a range of optional accessories.
The latest round of spy shots showcase one test mule to be decked in a range of optional accessories, ranging from bar-end mirrors, a large crash guard, and auxiliary lights. The seat too looks to be a part of the optional parts catalogue. The second test mule featured a headlight cowl, giving it a typical roadster aesthetic.
This upcoming Royal Enfield bike was already spotted several times over the past few months, where the first set of spy shots shed interesting details, while the second series of spy shots revealed a range of optional accessories for the Shotgun 650. We had also spotted two of these bikes stuck in traffic together, giving us a clear look of the rear profile.
The test mules also sport an upside down fork, similar to what was spied on the Super Meteor 650. At the rear, the Shotgun 650 sports twin shock absorbers. It is expected to share the same 648cc, parallel-twin mill that powers the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 producing 47.6PS and 52Nm. Here are five things we know about the Shotgun 650 based on spy shots.
The Shotgun 650 is likely to go on sale in early 2023 and is expected to carry a price tag of Rs 3.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Its main rival will be the Kawasaki Vulcan S.
