Maruti Suzuki has just launched the second-gen Celerio at prices ranging from Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 6.94 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). The compact hatch is offered in four broad trims: LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. This is the first step in the Celerio’s trim lineup. It comes only with the basics, including:

The Celerio is powered by Maruti’s new 1-litre K10C petrol engine developing 67PS and 89NM.
It can be had with either a 5-speed manual or an optional 5-speed AMT.
The hatch is offered with six paint options: Speedy Blue, Fire Red, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Caffeine Brown, and Arctic White.
It rivals the Tata Tiago, Hyundai Santro, Datsun Go, and Maruti Suzuki Wagon R.
