Honda Cars India is all set to launch the Elevate on our shores on September 4. The model has arrived at dealerships and pre-launch bookings have been open for a while now. You get to pick from four broad trims: SV, V, VX, and ZX. And in this report, we’ll be looking at what the base SV variant of the Elevate comes packing with.
This being a base-spec trim, it obviously comes with only entry-level features. And yet, it gets LED projector headlights, 16-inch steel wheels, LED tail lamps, automatic climate control, fabric upholstery, keyless entry with push button start, PM 2.5 air filter, 60:40 split folding rear seats, and dual airbags.
While it’s great to see Honda offering niceties such as LED headlights and automatic climate control as standard, the base trim misses out on an infotainment system.
Opting for the higher-end trims will get you niceties such as a 10.25-inch infotainment system, sunroof, wireless phone charger, six airbags, and most importantly, ADAS. You can check out more details of the Honda Elevate in our in-depth image gallery.

The Honda Elevate’s base variant gets the 121PS 1.5-litre petrol engine, teamed with a 6-speed manual ‘box. If you want the auto ‘box, then it’s offered from the one-above-base V trim. You can check out the Elevate’s variant-wise powertrain and colour options in this report.
For our impressions of the upcoming Honda Elevate, check out our in-depth first drive review. We suspect prices will kick off around the Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom) mark, putting the Elevate in contention with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross.
