The Tata Punch, scheduled for launch on October 20, will be available in four broad trims: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, And Creative. Both online bookings (via the carmaker’s official website) and offline (at your nearest Tata dealership) are underway for a token of Rs 21,000. 

In this report, we explore in detail the features and colour options on offer with each trim:

Pure

Colours: Orcus White, Daytona Grey, 

Powertrains: Petrol-MT

‘Pure’ is the Punch micro SUV’s entry-level trim (‘Persona’ in Tata-speak), packing essentials including:

  • Black outside door handles

  • Black body cladding

  • Front power windows

  • Tilt-adjustable steering wheel

  • 90-degree-opening doors

  • Central locking

  • LED turn indicators

  • Dual front airbags

  • ABS with brake-sway control

  • Rear parking sensors

  • ISOFIX child seat mounts

Adventure

ZW-Tata-Punch-Adventure

Colours: Orcus White, Daytona Grey, Tropical Mist, and Atomic Orange

Powertrains: Petrol-MT, Petrol-AMT

Next in the lineup is ‘Adventure’. It gets all the previous trim’s features and then some, including:

  • Body-coloured ORVMs and outside door handles

  • Fully plastic wheel covers

  • 4-inch Harman infotainment system

  • Four Harman speakers

  • Steering-mounted audio controls

  • USB charging port

  • Electrically adjustable ORVMs (outside rearview mirrors)

  • Follow-me-home headlamps

  • Anti-glare IRVM (interior rearview mirror)

  • Remote locking/unlocking

The ‘Accomplished’ persona is positioned just below the top-spec Creative. It gets all the features from the previous two trims, and additionally: 

  • 15-inch wheels with styled covers to mimic an alloy rim

  • Front fog lamps

  • LED tail lamps

  • 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

  • Two tweeters (plus four speakers)

  • Keyless entry with push-button start/stop

Creative

ZW-Tata-Punch-Creative

Colours: The shades Orcus White, Daytona Grey, Atomic Orange, Tropical Mist, and Meteor Bronze come with a black roof. On the other hand, the Calypso Red and Tornado Blue, which are exclusive to the Creative trim, come with a white roof.

Powertrains: Petrol-MT, Petrol-AMT

The ‘Creative’ is the top-spec trim in the Punch’s lineup. It comes with all the bells and whistles, including:

  • Projector halogen headlamps
