Revamp Moto RM Buddie 25

Shark Tank India-fame Revamp Moto has finally launched the Buddie 25 in India. More details in our launch story.

The Buddie 25 is a utilitarian moped, sporting practical bits like a base rack, carrier and even a child seat. With 12-inch wheels at both ends, it promises to take on our roads nicely. In terms of features, it packs an LCD dash with auto headlight and smartphone connectivity.

A 25kmph top speed means you don’t need a license to ride the Buddie 25. It has a claimed range of 70km. Its portable battery, meanwhile, can be fully charged in under three hours. Nought to 80 per cent, meanwhile, will take one hour and 45 minutes!

Priced at Rs 66,999, the RM Buddie 25 presents itself as an interesting proposition; a rugged electric moped with a modern twist. It goes up against the likes of the Detel EV Easy Plus and the Okinawa Dual 100.
