SYM Joymax Z 300

The SYM Joymax Z 300 has been spotted testing uncamouflaged outside Pune, indicating that a possible launch could occur soon. It is in a race against the Honda Forza 300 to become the first 300cc maxi-scooter to be sold in India. An official launch is expected in the middle of 2021 at a price tag of around Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh.

Powering the Joymax is a 278cc single-cylinder motor producing 27.3PS and 27.3Nm. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers, and the Z 300 features disc brakes at both ends in a 260mm/240mm size combo. In terms of features, the Joymax gets an adjustable front screen, ABS, semi-digital instrumentation and USB charging.
