Tata Nexon 2023-2023 Questions and Answers

Other than luxury and sheer performance i wanted everything in a car. Among those good amount of ground clearance, decent angle of approach and departure, safety, space, comfort, fuel economy, price were my main points which I was looking for. My budget was stricktly under 10lakh. So there was only one car that was fulfilling all my criteria and that was Tata Nexon XM, petrol manual. I considered Ford ecosport and Hyundai Venue also. Ecosport i rejected it because of the tiny tyres and overall space. Didn't go for venue because it more looks like a soft roader than a muscular SUV. This is my personal opinion only and looks are highly subjective. Did a lot of comparison between Venue and Nexon as Venue had an upper hand in terms of quality, fit and finish but it could not match the Nexon's build quality and driving dynamics, ride and handling. On top of all these things, I am a very big fan of Mr. Ratan Tata and its an Indian brand. So decided to go for Nexon. 🙂

2 years since i bought the nexon.Xz+o amazing driving experience, Good power, Love the sports mode.The city drive is adequate in busy roads.Nothing to complain about the comfort level.Which is really good.Gives a good presence on the road and a good visibility too.The seats are comfy and wonderful for long rides too with the cruise control.The worst thing is when we start the car in the morning.The gear box is a bit stuff.Bmwhat i love the most.Is the handling and the sound system.Overall performance is excellent build quality excellent.Vibration.At low speed is there a little.But not a major problem.Pickup is good.Mileage is good.But can be improved.Features are excellent.The sound, Cruise, Parking assist, Ira.All of it.The service experience for me was good till now.Professional and quick service.Overall it is one of the best options to consider.

Nexon XZ is my 1st car and I bought it with the primary feature of safety in mind. Rest all came as a bonus. My experience of driving Nexon for the last 1.5 yrs has been excellent. I have never faced any issues with the car on-road or off-road, loaded or not, on highways or cities, the car provides a perfect balance of performance and comfort. I've hushed between Bangalore and Raipur lately a lot and experienced excellent driving comfort and less fatigue. The petrol engine gives a bit of lag at lower rpm but the moment turbo kicks In the experience. becomes thrilling. Tyres grip the tarmac well and suspension provides a smooth cushion even on the bad surface. It's a complete package but if you're looking for feature-loaded variants then stay away from XZ. It's a complete value for money vehicle that TATA has provided.

I have driven 15000 kms till now and my experience with nexon includes both positive and negative.Let me share positive followed by negatives positives: 1.Very confortable seating posture that will ensure you comfort ride for long distnaces2.Safety and robust build quality ; the build quality makes you feel you are sitting in a defence tank3.Ground clearance and spacious interior are note worthynegatives1.I am really disappointed with the engine performance: you will notice high lag and i always feel lack of power in low revvs which we drive most of the times2.Rattling noise is observed frequently3.The dashboard looks outdated and the reflects alot and makes driving discomfort during nights4.Service experience is other zone where there is ample of scope for improvement.

The new 2020 model looks very good in its face.Also the car is equipped with most of the feutures as well as safety equipments.However the fit and finish is very bad for the amount we pay.I paid around 12 lakhs on road for the xza plus.But the finishing is very poor for what we pay.In my car the left front door was not aligned properly and even after first service they were not able to fix.Also the engine vibrates more as it is a three cylinder unit.After 3 months of very minimum use itself the dash board and steering console started rattling which is quite irritating.After 10 months of use the car developed rusting of all four door panels near the handle area for which tata provided just repaint instead of a full replacement.Don't fall for the social media hype.Stay away from tata cars because they have several quality issues.They are safe because most of the time the car is safely kept at service centres.
