The updated Tigor EV has been launched with new features borrowed from its sibling, the Tiago EV, at no extra cost. The XM variant has been discontinued but there’s a new XT trim priced at Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Although there are no cosmetic revisions, the updated EV does get a new Magnetic Red shade along with new features and an increased ARAI claimed range of 315km. Features like cruise control system, tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rain-sensing wipers, multi-level regenerative braking and more connected car features have been added to the electric sedan’s list. Existing Tigor EV owners can get a few of these new features updated on their vehicles through a free of cost software update starting from December 20. Owners of the Tigor EV XZ+ and XZ+ DT also get the benefit of smartwatch connectivity update.
