In a cost sensitive market like India, the Mercedes-Benz has made a smart choice of introducing its luxury hatchbacks A and B-Class. Both these cars have managed to make a place for itself in the market and to celebrate the tremendous response of both these cars, Mercedes-Benz has decided to introduce a special ‘Edition 1’ of the A180 CDI and the B180 CDI on June 24. The Edition 1 is an update of the existing A and B-Class models and will be made available for a limited period.
The ‘Edition 1’ models will sport some extra features that are not available on the standard variant. On the outside both these models will now get a panoramic sunroof, glossy black ORVMs and Edition 1 decals. The feature list will also include reverse camera and arm rests on the rear bench. Under the hood both cars will continue to sport the same 2.2-litre diesel mill that pumps 109PS of power and 250Nm of torque.
Considering the changes and the fact that the ‘Edition 1’ will be available for limited time frame, expect it to be priced at a premium over the current model. Watch this space for the pricing and complete review of the Edition 1 A and B-Class.
